Our Programmes: Creating Lasting Impact

WHAT WE DO

Compassionate Programmes Supporting Vulnerable Communities

Our programmes are designed to respond to real needs on the ground — addressing hunger, trauma, and barriers to education while fostering resilience, hope, and long-term community upliftment.

Child protection and trauma support

Child Protection & Survival Packages

We support children who have experienced abuse and trauma and are placed in protective care. We provide survival and care packages for children from newborn to 18 years old—helping to restore safety, dignity, and comfort during a critical time.

What support includes:
  • Toiletries for babies, girls, and boys
  • Non-perishable food items
  • Basic medicines and first-aid supplies
Both monetary and in-kind donations are welcomed to sustain this vital work.
Food security and nutrition support

Food Security & Nutrition (Happy Tummy, Happy Soul)

Through our Happy Tummy, Happy Soul project, we distribute food packages to those most in need— bringing nourishment and comfort through practical, hands-on support.

Where food support goes:
  • Children’s homes
  • Old age homes
  • Shelters
  • Community-based NPOs
Accepted donations:
  • Packaged food items
  • Fresh produce (safe and edible, even if close to expiry)
  • Bulk or surplus stock
Education and youth empowerment

Education & Youth Empowerment

Our education-focused initiatives support youth from disadvantaged and rural communities. We believe education is a powerful tool to break cycles of poverty and inequality.

Support may cover:
  • Tuition fees
  • Accommodation
  • Learning materials
  • Specialised fields of study
Digital access and skills empowerment

Digital Access & Skills Empowerment

To expand our reach and improve operational efficiency, Hart en Siel is driving a digital transformation initiative. This helps us serve communities more effectively and strengthen our ability to deliver support where it’s needed most.

Current need:
  • 15 Wi-Fi-enabled laptops (basic specifications acceptable)
  • IT equipment contributions that strengthen operational capacity
Youth sports development

Youth Sports Development

We empower young aspiring athletes who lack financial support by bridging the sport funding gap. Our focus is to ensure under-resourced athletes can access the same opportunities as their peers.

Our objective:
  • Enable participation in local, provincial, and national competitions
  • Bridge the funding gap for under-resourced athletes
Christmas and back-to-school support

Christmas & Back-to-School Project

Each year, we support families and school-aged children through survival and back-to-school packages—helping them meet basic needs and return to school with dignity and confidence.

How you can support:
  • Monetary contributions
  • Property-in-kind support and essential items
Eco-friendly environment project

Eco-Friendly Environment Project

Our Eco-Friendly Environment Project supports disadvantaged communities by improving access to essential resources such as water and electricity, while promoting sustainable, environmentally responsible solutions.

Programme goal:
  • Improve living conditions in a safe, efficient, eco-conscious way
  • Help communities meet basic needs without harming the environment
